LOCATION: Irishman Farm is located 17 mile NW of Riverton WY. The Farm is accessed via asphalt and County maintained, all-weather gravel roads. Schools are in Pavillion, (Wind River School district,) grades K-12 with bus service to the front gate. Students attend Mon-Thurs. The school is 15 miles from the Farm or around 20 min. It has an excellent reputation.
DESCRIPTION: Irishman Farm consists of 417+/- deeded acres with 300+/- flood- irrigated crop ground. The current owners produce grass/alfalfa mix hay on half the irrigated ground and pasture around 50 pairs on the remainder during the summer months.
PRODUCTION: There is around 300 acres of irrigated ground divided into two equal parts; The crop ground is in hay, owner rated at 4+ tons per acre. It is currently in alfalfa/grass. This type of ground can produce a higher yield should the new owner wish to seed straight alfalfa. The soil will also support corn, beets or small grains.
